Amorie Robinson
PhD, LP
Dr. Robinson has nearly 20 years of experience in the clinical field and has been instructing for 12 years. She is currently a Forensic Clinician/Therapist for the Clinic for Child Study, Clinic Treatment Unit of the Wayne County Juvenile Court. As a strong believer in community involvement, she is co-founder and a member of the Board of Directors for the Ruth Ellis Center, co-founder and Board President for the Karibu House Community Center in Detroit, and member of the National Board of Directors of the Mautner Project in Washington D.C. Her activism has garnered many accolades including the "Marquis Who's Who Among American Women" distinction and the "Catalyst Award for Community Activism" from the Triangle Foundation of Michigan. Her works have been featured in several industry chronicles and her story books published by Detroit's Black Writer's Guild.
