This course is designed for healthcare professionals, program administrators, and substance use disorder (SUD) staff who seek to enhance their understanding of the RI Pilot Program as they plan to launch services at their clinic. During this interactive course, participants will describe provider site implementation plans and engage in peer-to-peer learning to improve strategies. By the end of this course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to complete a readiness review to implement the RI Pilot program.

During this final CM core curriculum training session, provider site staff will share implementation policies and protocols developed for their site. The focus on peer-to-peer sharing will allow sites to learn from each other as they plan to launch services for beneficiaries. Site policies will cover:

  • Office logistics for launch
  • Urine Drug Testing (UDT): Provide detailed information on UDT procedures and requirements.
  • Billing & Reimbursement: Provide guidance on billing and reimbursement procedures for CM services.
  • Connecting with Beneficiaries: Provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions and share about beneficiary engagement strategies.
  • Interactivity Opportunities & Next Steps: Provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions and share plans will fellow implementers.

How can you leverage your deeper understanding of the RI Pilot Program's structure and protocols to effectively launch the program for your community?

Overall: The third and final course in the RI Pilot core curriculum series will be an interactive opportunity for sites to share workflow plans and strategies and for participants to engage, ask questions, and clarify any doubts.
