In Michigan, the Person-Centered Treatment Planning process results in an individual plan of service (IPOS). This planning process includes multiple steps and results in a meaningful plan . The IPOS informs treatment and focuses on each individual's path to recovery.
In this section, courses explore individualized treatment planning for your clients. Courses include evidence-based, best and promising practices to assist you in developing person-centered plans. An introduction to LOCUS (Level of Care Utilization System) designed to determine level of care placement recommendations, guide assessments, and support admissions, continued stay and discharge criteria is available in the LOCUS section of Focus Areas.
