Behavioral Health Professionals and the Veteran Community

Our country's heroes go by a different name sometimes: troubled veterans. Those who serve are often times siloed into the VA system and receive basic care once they return from duty. These veterans may have traumatic brain damage, behavior health issues, and a variety of co-occurring disorders. Without proper treatment, an astonishing number of veterans fall victim to depression and suicide.

The courses in the category will be designed to assist those veterans and direct care workers that work with veteran clients to develop best practices and improve the lives of those individuals who have served their country. The mental health of our veterans is of the utmost importance.
