Definition:

Community Treatment Team is a less intensive version of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT). Also known as 'ACT Lite', or 'ACT-like', it is a community team with a lower staff to higher consumer ratio provides treatment services in the community; less intensive than ACT. Some states use this in lieu of ACT due to financial considerations, other uses include transitioning from ACT to Case Management.
